It's fairly simple to write and publish your own work free but it does take some time preparing by watching video tutorials and following the instructions on these sites. Once you do the first one it is a piece of cake. Follow these instructions to publish and sell your writings, video's, presentations etc.

Once you do the first one it is a piece of cake. Follow these instructions to publish and sell your writings, video's, presentations etc.
- Get a Gmail account: Go to Gmail.com and sign up for a free email address at Google.
- Go to Google docs: Once you open Google docs you will see a button that says CREATE. When the drop down list appears click on the type of document, book, presentation etc. that you want to create. Give it a name by changing the name in UNTITLED at the top of the page. Use a free template if you are not sure that your work is formatted correctly. Type in your writings, pictures etc. Google docs will automatically save your work in Google drive. If you have not done so already you will need to download Google Drive to your computer.
- Download Google Drive: After you download it shut off your computer using restart, then sync.
- Get Google Docs-Create a document in Google docs. You can format it yourself or use a free book template from Google's selection. Write your book. After you finish creating and editing your project set your SHARE settings. If you are planning to sell your work mark your share setting in Google docs as PRIVATE (You can change this later if you want to).
- Download your work: Using the button on the left drop down menu. If you are writing a book you should download it as a .pdf or Microsoft Word doc. Give it a name you can remember easily.
- Email your work to yourself: Email a copy of your work to yourself for a backup
- Store your work: Store your work on a USB memory stick for a portable back up copy.
Choose Which Way You Want to Publish
You have several options for publishing your work yourself. Here are just a few of the most popular options:
- You can use create space from Amazon to create your manuscript. Upload it to Kindle, and start selling. (See video: How to Publish a Kindle E-Book-below)
- Go to kdp.amazon.com and sign in (you'll need an Amazon account) and they will give you step by step instructions on how to upload your manuscript.
- Go to Scribd.com and set up an account: After your account is set up you can upload your work to Scribd, give it a name, create tags so people can find it, and you can set up a price and a payment account so you can get paid when someone buys your work
- Build a Website to display your previews of your work which people can buy. Scroll to the bottom of this page and you will see an ad for Weebly . Click on it and it will give you step by step instructions on how to set up an account, make your own website, and how to put your work on your website.
