About the Book
While searching for the origin of Poetry I stumbled over this amazing writing I simply have to share with you, it is the story of Columbus: Christopher Columbus in Poetry, History and Art written by Sara Agnes Ryan and became immersed in the unique writings.
The book is a dedication to the unknown talents of Columbus who is accredited for discovering America. Among his many talents was a gift for writing poetry and an innate desire to help others.
The introduction written by Rev. F. X. McCabe, C, M., LL. D., who is the President of De Paul University, Chicago and was respectively dedicated to the Knights of Columbus.
There are 48 author's which are quoted in the text of this book and many pictures and stories about Columbus making the reader appreciate the true spirit of Columbus with a clear grasp of his personality type, and numerous excerpts of poetry.
This Book was originally published by the Mayer and Miller Company in 1917 and The Library of Congress offers an ebook, pdf and other ways to read these inspiring excerpts belonging to Christopher Columbus Christopher Columbus in Poetry, History, and Art free.
